Code of Ethics
It shall be considered ethical and consistent with honorable and dignified membership in the Association for any member:
- To act for the State in the performance of duty as a faithful employee and a true public servant.
- To uphold the professional reputation or technical standing of any fellow employee and defend him against false or malicious charges.
- To act always and engage in practice which will tend to bring credit to the State, the Department of Transportation, and the Georgia Department of Transportation Engineer's Association.
- To resist any direct political pressures, in the performance of duty, that would be adverse to the public interest.
- To refuse any remuneration or gifts from others in conjunction with the performance of duty.
